Like most places, it was late to change. Just another reason to love Mackinac! The best in every season! Mackinac island views! I was finding myself constantly creating and found that my true passion in life was art. I began drawing portraits of friends and family then from there my life took off.
I was painting, drawing, sketching, when finally I realized my favorite medium was colored pencils and dove right in. I began working more on commissions and in June of officially began my business Deely Drawings. That next summer I kept working and was featured in my first gallery.
