The moly grease that you can pick up in a tube at the auto parts store is NOT the same moly past that is commonly used as a anti-gall anti-seize paste.
The grease that you use in a grease gun has a small amount of moly in it and is relatively inexpensive. The moly paste that you want for gun work has just enough grease in it to make it a paste, the rest is all molybdenum disulfide. Dow-Corning makes the stuff that I have been using for the last 20 years. It is very expensive compared to the tube-grease talked about in earlier posts but will last along time.

Anti-seize generally is a little grease and a LOT of powdered aluminum or copper. Here we go again. You guys are making this too hard. Thats it. It isnt the end of the world if thats what you used Just get grease. From the auto parts store. If not, order it from one of the sources listed on the first page I use Lubrimatic synthetic brake caliper grease for the barrel nut threads.
